I can create clear and engaging maps using ArcGIS and R. For example, the map below was created in ArcGIS and shows interpolated values of nitrogen. Red areas are high in nitrogen, and blue areas are low in nitrogen. From this map then, we can see that there are higher concentrations of nitrogen in the seawater surrounding a sewage treatment plant and a salmon farm.

The second example simply shows an area on the west coast of Scotland, and indicates what types of fishing are permitted in various management zones in the region.
