I love creative non-fictional story telling and delivering oral presentations. My philosophy is: If you enjoyed making the presentation, the audience will enjoy hearing the presentation!

To date I have won four awards for my presentations:

  • November 2019: Best poster and 3 minute presentation at Ocean Frontiers Institute, Newfoundland, Canada. 

  • June 2015: The Alan Ansell Prize for best talk at International Pectinid Workshop, Galway, Ireland. 

  • July 2014: K.M. Stott Prize for excellence in scientific research, The University of York. 

  • March 2014: Best talk at an Environmental Conference at the University of York.
